I seem to have one hell of problem with over heating now. Ive changed radiators, caps, t stats and bled the system. Yet after a while it starts all over again. I bleed it again and it goes away. I only seem to overheat while at a stop, like the fan doesnt come on at all. So I got a new fan switch. bled the system again and everything was great. Now tnight it starts all over again. How in the world am I getting air in the system all the time? Are there any other things I should look for?

Air could be introduced at the FITV. Possibly at the heater system. Have you altered your hoses in any way? You haven't mentioned your water pump... Hope it's not your head gasket. Good luck.

How could air be introduced by the FITV? The fan turns on, but only after I bleed it and everything starts working great. its after a while that things start going bad again. coolant keeps filling up the resavoir and not going back into the system. Air seems to be getting into the system and getting stuck by the fan switch to be making it not turn on. hence the over heating at stops.

ive pretty much decided its the head gasket. Kinda sucks, but oh well. Im picking one up tomorrow along with all the coolant hoses. Every damned one of them. Im not leaving anything untouched.

It wouldnt be the water pump. Coolant still flows through everything.
