- Wed Nov 19, 2008 6:57 am #79408 Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but i have a 92 civic hatch si and i pulled the blowen d16z6 out and i want to replace it with a d15b this motor http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc2000search.cgi?what=page&item=30021
with this motor bolt and plug and pay with what i have right now or what do i have to do to make it work and can i use my trans i have or do i have to buy the optional 5 speed hydro tranny and do i have to buy the p08 ecu to make it work. so my question is what do i all have to get and will it be simple to just drop this in as a replacment motor? thanks a head of time for the replys.

- Wed Nov 19, 2008 7:11 am #79410 If its OBD1(92-95) then it will be a Direct Replacement, Same plugs, same Mounts, Just Pull the Blown z6, Bolt up the transmission to the JDM D15b and drop it back in.

Wiring should be as easy as plugging in the plugs to the correct place, Possibly swaping ECUS.

If you get one, Make sure its the OBD1 Version and you will have little to no problems.
