ok so im just finishing up swapping my skrewed d for a newer one and go to start the car all the dash lights up interior light comes on stereo powers up but the car wont crank...

when i turn the key to start not a damm thing happens i can hear a relay click under the hood but starter wont work. I tried jumping the starter to the battery to see if it was a ignition or clutch problem (was having a prob with the clutch switch before swap) even tried running a new ground from some bracket on the tranny to the frame to see if it was a ground problem but still no crank

might be related to the no crank but i dont seem to hear the fuel pump prime when i turn the key on either not sure why i dont seem to have any blown fuses both under dash and under hood

any help would be great im sort of stumped

is the ecu plugged all the way in? that would prevent both the starter and fuel pump from working

And double check your battery... even a little juice is enough to run the dash lights and stock stereo but it takes a lot more juice to crank the motor.

I still say there's a harness somewhere that isn't connected

battery should be good ran a civic at for for 2 hours with it then load tested it before i brought it home plus stereo isnt stock and subs all work good.....

computer shoudl be pluged in... only unplugged the conectors under the hood and have checked them and they are all good plus when i jumped the starter right to the battery it didnt work either so either my starter died or ground issue im guessing

you hooked up the ground on the tranny, engine, and thermostat?

its alive :woot: stupid me apparently missed the tranny ground....and i guess the ground that i made to the tranny to see if it was bad ground must not have been verry good either..... and i also some how managed to install the distrubitor wrong :?

but after fixing that it fired right up louder than hell with no exhaust. now just have to put rad in and finish up everything and replace my drivers side axle cause some how the boot decided it was going to fall right off.....
