I'm looking into slim fan options because my stock fan is in the way of my down pipe. I'm looking at something like a Spal 12" pusher to mount in front of my radiator instead of a puller that mounts on the engine side.
Spal makes both 12" push and pull fans, but the pushers are more expensive I'm finding...
I've read on some forums though that all you have to do is reverse the wires and it will run in the opposite direction and that you can make any pusher into a puller and vise versa.
But this would only be true on fans with straight blades, not curved blades such as this one:

Is there any other reason why you couldn't make a puller into a pusher?
