Got a question. my friend got a b20vtec and he wanted to know if he can do a compression test when the engine is pulled out? we did one on his old b18 engine while he had the engine in, but what about when its out?

sorry, fo a compression test to be accurate, the engine must be at operating temp.

Just rig some leads to the starter. Keep the throttle at WOT. Keep in mind that a cold engine will have lower compression than a warm engine. Just look for variation.
