The regular shit.. oil changes, air filter change, Shift low, accelerate slow and drive the speed limit. Tire pressure like OleFolk stated... also the size of your rims/tires effect it.

keep your heel off the steel and don't downshift to slow your car down. if your coming to a stop just push the clutch in and use your brakes to slow the car. thats what they are made for

If you have your foot off the throttle and your RPM's are above 950, the injectors are turned off.

Putting the clutch in causes the RPMs to immediately drop below 950. The injectors turn on and the engine goes idle.

Leaving the trans in gear keeps the RPMs above 950. No fuel is used.

me neither, I always took it out of gear and coasted. That's why he has that title :thumb:

Also a good alignment will help lower rolling resistance. The type of tires make a difference, as well as the footprint size and weight of the overall wheel.

Gutting your entire car will help too but that's not very practical.

A properly designed rear diffuser can help reduce the bumper's tendency to catch air like a parachucte. VX's actually came with a partial rear diffuser on the left side.

one question; so if ur rpms are above 950 and u use no fuel while in gear(foot off throttle), what actually happens in the combustion chambers? is it just pumping air in and out by the pistons going up and down. i noticed i can kinda hear my injector going on and off when cruisin around in 5th gear, since i dont have any sort of entertainment system i can only hear everything thats in my engine compartment.
