LS wont fit in EG

my dumb boss said that a 1997 jdm b18b motor wont fit in my 1994 honda civic ex sedan. im positive that it will fit but he is convinced that it wont without extreme modifications and he wont let me install it at his shop. please respond to this with pictures or just messeges so i can prove that it will fit. thanks

Tell him he's a tool and the swap has been done a bigillino times before, there are a few people on this site with that swap, and i am considering it in the future.

They fit just fine. B-series motors are put into the car from honda in every other county.

Cartech has a book called "honda engine swaps" and this is a direct quote.

"The '92-'95 Honda Civic (EG chassis) is without a doubt the most versatile and inviting chassis for a B-serise engine. This should come as no suprise since it shares the same engine cay characteristics as the '94-'01 Integra. It really doesn't make any difference whether you prefer a sedan, coupe, hatchback or Del Sol."

He probably doesn't realize that Honda and Acura are more or less the same thing. By his comments you'd think he was talking about putting a Supra engine in a Civic.

Pop the hood of an Integra. The "Honda" right across the valve cover is your first clue.

I love it when I come across someone that says "why does your Acura have a Honda engine in it"?
