Broken gas gauge

Broken gas gauge

- Thu Apr 30, 2015 11:28 pm #353505 So my gas gauge isn't working. All the other gauges work except for this one.
My dad thinks it could be the float for the fuel pump. What else could it be? Wiring maybe? Any help is appreciated! :thumb:

- Thu Apr 30, 2015 11:58 pm #353506 my gas gauge was broken i took apart everything and took out the float and come to find out my whole cluster was broken so i just bought a Si cluster and all my gauges work fine now :thumb:

- Fri May 01, 2015 3:55 am #353513 Do you prefer to pull the rear seat and tank cover to inspect the float or are you better with electronics and prefer to pull the cluster and troubleshoot the gas gauge? :thumb:
I live in a road salt state and my tank cover bolts are rusty as hell, I would pick the cluster because of that. :thumbdown:
