ok my money is finalie comen in, and as i said before i dont know sh*t about honda's except there f'n bad. and there alot diff from my neon. i got a 95 d16z6 coupe. it was raced before and i was told it was turbo'd with no internal work done. so i deff need to rebuild the engine so it's more reliable. and right now there is no 3rd or 4th gear. i want to run low 13's high 12's would be nice though. and i plan on turbo. i need to know what gears and where to get em for the tranny, and i need to know what exactly i should do with the engine. this is the turbo kit ive been looking at, http://www.procivic.com/index.php?car_y ... cts_id=290 ... it's spendy but looks worth it... can someone tell me what i should do to the engine and where to get the parts for it??? i would apreciate it...

If the engine / tranny are no good then you're better off starting over with a B series. A goal of 12 seconds in a Honda is no joke. It has been done with a SOHC but reliability goes out the window and you start to reach the limitations of the motor at that point. The B series is much stronger internally and has more potential.

There are many kits with the same/similar parts in themas the one you have looked at but if you are looking to run high 12's you will nneed to do you home work and would be better off building your own kit.

Read through the forums here and see what installed parts other have got and what times they're running also look at other parts site to see what other products are around and how they might be better for you.

Also I agree with suspendedHatch B series would be your first best change rather than trying to fix a worn engine just change it and start again.

Good louck with the build and keep us posted on how your getting on.
