Lets just say he's shifting somewhere very high in the RPM range.

The other thing I like is how he holds out 1st gear for a while before he shifts, he doesnt go to redline right off the bat, I bet that helps time.

I thought that might have been cause the tires were slipping/grabbing

I did some digging on the www and all I could come up with is that the driver's name is Peterson Lim, he drives for Team Hilton Motor Racing, and the engine is a B16!!! Couldn't find any further specs or info about the team though...
