#164337 axles...... if you undid the axle nuts and tierods (the right way) just pry it out from the differential, use a prybar or a flathead. they should just pop out. if not they will still come out but are harder to clear the the transmission.

fluid....... its unusual to leak from the bell housing so if your leak is close to the oil pan it should come from up....... unless its one of your main seals in the block...... worry about the leak once you get the tranny off it will be easier.

#165994 When I did my clutch/flywheel/rear main, I pulled off my distributor to get to some of the bell housing bolts. Did you do that? If so, did you reconnect everything properly? How about the transmission ground? Did you reconnect that when you were buttoning things up? Not sure how it is on the D-series, but on the B18B1, there are three sensors that I disconnected to move out of the way for better clearance. If you disconnected your sensors on the passenger side of the head, did you reconnect them?

I'm guessing the car is on the ground by now. When you say the engine doesn't want to keep running, do you have the transmission in neutral? What is it doing? Sputtering, jumping, hesitating? How does your clutch pedal feel? Did you adjust it at all? Did you introduce air into the clutch line? If so, did you bleed it out?

I hope this helps. If I missed something, someone else will probably pick up and offer other suggestions.

#166085 Yes i did take off the dizzy but i reconnected everything back.
i didnt touch the clutch.

Yes its on the ground, the wen i turn the switch it turned on at first for about 5 seconds sounded normal the it started back firing and turned off after that it hesitates to turn on. i did a oil change and i put antifreeze.

#166152 distributor shaft is keyed offset. it won't go in 180* out.
u might have mixed up the map sensor with the tps connections, common mistake.
you need to fix the axle before you drive it, you could damage your new trans.
don't know what can get the cat red hot, never seen that!
maybe it's plugged up?
