As far as the rear mount goes, you don't need the manual rear mount, but it is stronger, the basic dimensions are the same and I ran an automatic mount for a long time. The guys that say torque mounts aren't necessary are usually the same guys that rip the driver's side mount bolts out of the block or break mounts, while they're not exactly critical I would highly recommend running them.
