i have a buddy that wants one but has no idea where to getg one

- Fri Aug 28, 2009 1:15 pm #140247 Your cheapest option is OBX LSD around $360. Although made in china there are some people who have gotten defective ones... I was not so lucky and cost me a month of downtime. Quaife is the real LSD that OBX copied and is closer to $700-800 bucks.

- Fri Aug 28, 2009 4:20 pm #140271 I couldn't agree more... it was such a hassle I will never buy another OBX product of any kind. They are cheap for a reason. I see OBX makes ITB's now... sounds like a disaster waiting to happen!

Do not cheap out on an LSD, a tranny is not cheap or convenient to rebuild!
Follow as I say, not as I've done :lol:

There is an OEM LSD for D series, it came optional on a certain JDM D series engine... maybe the D15B? Someone will know for sure... I remember they are not that common though.

very few of them do. they are hard to find and no guarranty of quality or condition. importers hook their friends up, rarely sell them.
