i have a single cam and im pretty sure the tranny is dx and its hydro since the car is dx but my clutch started to worn out and i decide to replace. didnt have alot of money so i bought a used one since i dont have a job till next week. i got it and the guy said he took it off his single cam hydro too of his crx. the clutch didnt fit it was slighlty bigger then the one i had. i didnt know cause i bought the clutch first and the starting to take the car apart. but was wondering did he give me a wrong clutch? or on d series tranny they dont all share the same clutch? and it doesnt fit because the pressure plate doesnt go on good, and doesnt let does thing on the flywheel go on those little hole on the pressure plate.

another question
the guy who sold me the clutch said the reason it didnt fit because i need to use his pressure plate because of the size of the clutch. is that true???

there are two diff size disc and pressure plates and discs for a sohc i have seen the bigger spline sohc clutches in two different sizes before yes, but as far as applicatoin they came from idk, but there are 2 different size clutches, and id recomend keeping what came together, together i wouldnt miss match discs and pressure plates, i mean ive done it before and been fine, its just not good practice lol... hope this helps :thumb:

ZOOM, ACT, and i know one boy who had a centerforce, it seemd to grab ok, but ive heard mixed reviews about them... ClutchMasters are supposed to make a really good clutch but they can be on the $ side depending on what you go with...

i really like the ZOOM and ACT from what i have used of each one...

id get the bigger flywheel too, bigger clucth is more potental holding surface... :thumb:
