random washers....

when i lifted my main shaft out of the housing there was two washers sitting on top of the bearing. im not sure they belong there and im worried that when i try to shift the extra clearence will cause an interference in the shift arms. can anyone help...... chrono maybe???

What you are talking about are actually "Thrust Washers" or "Shims".
I have seen one or more, as needed, in Honda transmissions. Reuse them if they are there.
