My b16, as you all know .. I don't even know how to explain it, but my wheels spin.. even when its in nuetrual....


I dont know wtf to say. Im amazed....... any ideas?

it was auto - to manual converted....

yeah.. i just noticed it today.. when my car was up on the lift.. and i fired it up to hear my new header, (i always start my car in N cuz theres a kill switch or w/e and dont need to hold my clutch to start the car..

anyways i start it up .. its in nuetrual........... wheels spinning.. im sitting there .. i go inside the car.. put it in first.. then back into N again.. still spinning.. im just sittin there like this :jawdrop: :?:

You clutch could be not dissengaging all the way.

its ok i guess, last year i noticed the same thing while i had the car lifted in the front, my father (a mechanic) said its ok i dont remember why tho. :lol:

if you can easily stop the wheels from turning it's normal.
I guess that when it's on the ground it's ok?If it is it's only the oil in the transmission that makes alle the gears inside turn when there's no restriction the the movement.

its completly normal... unless all the cars i have owned have been bust.

i dont know why it does it and im not even gunna try and explain but all i know is every car i have owned does it.

Does it makes a sound, like a grinding noise or something, it may be nothing but if you try to stop the wheels while they are spinning and they don't stop something most be making contact with something :? . Maybe you should check your installation just to be sure everything is ok. good luck tho fixing your car.

Its the clutch lightly rubbing against the flywheel......nothing more.

100% normal.

Even though when he revved the engine they began spinning VERY fast?

yes, when i accel it it starts fastening up.. then slows down while idling

get one of your mates to put there car on a ramp... see if it does the same thing.

thats the easiest way to find out :thumb:
