I just swapped in a b18c1 into my hatch. There is a loud clattering coming from the bellhousing.

It's not really a "growl" as if there were a bearing going out. It almost feels/sounds like the clutch is pressing TOO hard against the pressure plate. Is there anyway to adjust this? My slave cylinder doesnt have an adjustable pushrod.

Nah, its definitely the input bearing. I checked and triple checked the clutch. I guess I'll be taking it all apart next weekend.
