clutch slipping

So im kind of confused. I dont know what this is exactly, hopefully i can clarify.

Most of the time my car shifts fine. Every so often, when im pushing it, when push in the clutch, put it into gear, then release the clutch, it will"stick" or seem to engage at a higher point to lift my foot off of the clutch pedal.

Does this mean the clutch is starting to slip?

means it is slipping.

same sort of thing happened to my teg just last week before the clutch gave up.

mine will do something similar once in a while, take a second to pop up from the floor after shifting gears. I think I may have some air in the line maybe :?
