well first off, id like to say, this sucks

i recently installed my engine with the new manual tranny, and the shit is pissing me off cause for some reason my motor is now at an angle. a real slant if you may





now i dont know how this is happening, but check it, im doing that auto to manual swap, so i got me a tranny mount for a resonable price



and it seemed like it was perfect (before i put it on that is.)

and well, it seems fine, but my front lower mount, wont even fit at all.

same with the read engine mount, that i cant even get the bolt into :\




i need help, i dunno what the hell is going on here, is it my mount? i bought it and it is specifically for the 92-95 civic manual tranny

if someone has an extra auto to manual mount that be swell, cause them shit is like 150 bucks, and i dont have that kind of money right now.

where did you get that conversion mount from? it is way off

oh yea one more thing, can i do anything about this myself as in not having to purchase anymore shit?

the one you have is a replacement mount for a manual transmission, not an auto to manual conversion mount.

is it a bitch to get the one i have no re welded? and what are the set backs for that tho?

if you know someone with a welder, then go that route. it involves cutting the old one up and getting the engine positioned right, tacking up the pieces & any new pieces needed together while in the bay, taking them out & welding them up good.

there's how I made a custom mount for my 96 hx when I converted from cvt to manual. your mount will never be as hideous as that one

good looks, ima check it out, ive already chipped and soldered my ecu to manual, so im guessing this'll be a challenge too, just what i like

hahaha teal i didnt even realize that "swap shop" racing site, they are located about 10 mins from me, i called em up and ima get one later this week, they are sold out. i told em, that Civic-eg refered em, hes like oh alright, hahaha iw was looking forever for a local place so i wouldnt have to order off the net, and then i noticed ont he banner "626" for the area code. duh

these guys at swapshop is on some bullshit.

they keep telling me the mounts gonna come in the mounts gonna come in, they got one in told me they were gonna hold it, then sold it. LOL

whats up with these dudes? you know em or what? its been like 2 1/2 weeks, im willing to wait cause its a deal for that mount. but wtf
