b16 or gsr tranny?

ok im puttin a jdm b18c outta a 94 integra gsr in my 93 civic hatch and was curiuos if my b16 tranny woul'd be better or buying a gsr tranny?

get a y80 type R but the jdm 1 your car will fly good luck

depends. The first 3 gears are the same ratio, then the B16's 4 and 5 are shorter than the GSR. supposively 6x00 rpm at 80 mph. so if you do a lot of highway mileage then I'd go for the GSR. Try browsing forums before you make a topic. I was reading one about the same thing last night that told me the information I told you.

I would say get a B16a tranny and put a LSD in it. Better then a ITR tranny right there. The 98+ ITR tranny, used the B16a 1 thru 3 and the GSR 4-5, and then added a 4.7 final drive. The b16a tranny is the same as the 96-97 ITR tranny with out the LSD.
