yeah i had thought about rivets..and a few other things like that..just kinda nervous about trying to drill or screw into the ck...think it will shatter or crack it? and if you have ever seen one of the trays the way it is isnt reallt like a flat surface for gluing...another thing im worried about lol..dont want to mess up the dash

was i supposed to keep the air bag deal itself and mod that or just have a hole in my dash? srs was deployed so i took it out and tossed it :?

double sided tape wouldnt be a bad idea so you wouldnt fuck your dash up....but get the 3m used for moldings and stuff

i just drilled a hole on both sides in the middle about half way down the tray. then i used two pieces of tin on the underside to make small hooks. i put a black screw through the holes and into the tin then all you have to do is go to the underside and zip tie the hook to the frame. it doesn't move and it looks very nice.

:thumb: the pictures are not the best quality but they should get the idea across. so here it is from the top.

here is the screw close up. i used a washer as well.

here it is from underneath.
Image
close up of the tin strap i attached the screw to, with a hole at the end to attach the zip tie to.
Image
then i ran the zip ties under this bracket to anchor it down.
Image
once you attach it to the other strap on the other side and tighten the zip ties (you have to chain a couple together so its long enough) its not going anywhere. hope this helps.
