Im about to remove my seat covers, front and rear from my hatch so I could dye them and Im just curious how hard it is to remove and reinstall them. Or if there is a DIY. I have the front seats out already and I noticed that the covers are snapped onto the seat frame with metal rings. How should i go about replacing those if i cut them off? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't the rings already have a break in them that you can pull apart and then re-use (by just clamping them back together)?

they make special pliers to remove & install them. You can buy new rings for installing, but I'm not sure where.
