So i just bought my car and got a tape adapter for my ipod and I put it in and for the first hour it was perfectly fine, then it went into a hissy fit of flipping the tape from side to side (and while its flipping the music stops). Is there a way to shut off the option of flipping the tape or even break the tape player so it cant flip the tape? :?

there should be a button on the tape deck to change sides of the tape. Try pressing that and it should go back to your iPod music.

When the tape deck changes sides of the tape its because it reaches the end of the tape. Your adapter shouldn't have any tape in it at all. I would make sure the little wheel parts are moving just fine with no hesitating, If its hard to turn they that would be why the tape deck is auto changing sides. It thinks it at the end of the tape.

i had the same problem with mine... its the design of the tape itself if you wind it with your finger it will catch a little and that what makes it keep trying to change over... trust me just buy a cheap cd player from your local crack head :thumb:
