So, my climate control bulbs finally gave up on life. Im thinking that all i have to do is take the buttons/faceplate off the controls and ill have access to the bulbs. Is this correct?

Ive already bought the bulbs from Honda (i wanted to keep the white light look). 8)

I've never replaced those bulbs, but I have pulled out the climate control as a whole unit. I'll take a look at it and see if it looks possible to just pull off the face rather than remove the whole unit.

Ok it involves a little work, but here's what to do:

Pull the radio out.

There screws on the bottom of the climate control: 1 in the back and 3 toward the front. You need to unscrew them to slide the climate control out.

Slide it out but not too much so you don't have to disconnect everything from the back. Just slide it out enough to take the face off.

There are little tabs around the edge of the unit holding the face on, unclip them and the face will come off.

You will see 2 bulbs to replace.
