Civic EG

So I pulled the clock out of my donor car to put into my DX... and It seems to have some problems...

The clock will always be at 1:00 when I turn the car on. It would also appear that the back lighting does not work properly because even at night its barely visible. Anyone know if it has an internal battery? All I did was plug it into the factory harness behind the black trim.

Any advice would be helpful.

Sounds like it's not retaining its memory after you turn the car off. This is done by a WHT/BLU wire from the car battery (there is no internal battery). You need to test the wire and/or check your fuses. Consult a wiring diagram.
