I currently have an eBay cheapo detachable sterring wheel with a 6 hole adapter.

Will this fit if I get the oem adapter plate as well?

If i'm not mistaken, that should just slide right on the factory spline shaft. I don't think you need an adapter plate for an OEM wheel unless there is something special about JDM that i'm not aware of.
