Has anyone tried to put silk instead of the suede on their door panels or anywhere else? I was browsing for ideas and this struck me. Good idea or bad idea?

I was thinking of using this if things checked out. it matches my car perfectly right now hahaha

I don't see why not? It's just another material and it would be just as easy as a suede...
Just use a good adhesive. 3M is the bomb!

if you have cargo covers wrap those and the side panels in the back under the windows just to see if you like it, check mine for example and i get tons of compliments dude
