JDM steering wheel

I'd love to get one. I've been looking on ebay, and all I've managed to find are those knock off mugen steering wheels.

I would rather get the fancy JDM steering wheel because it has an airbag. there have been loads of kids getting into accidents here at the high school lately, and to be frank, I'd feel more comfortable knowing I have that last line of protection. how much do they run price wise?

98 spec ITR and EK9 SRS steering wheels are EXPENSIVE. i will get a price for a brand new tomorrow at work but even second hand ones for £250.00 here in the UK.

plus, you would need to find one in the states because you cant post them on a plane!

either that or wait the 10 weeks for delivery :?

yea those are like 350 US dollars for a good one used

Sir steering wheels i seen for about 100-160 plus shipping

the ones with the SRS in it or airbags are i think harder to find (for me atleast i seen the ones with out the air bags)

Airbags are not the safest in the world... they often leak when they pop out... resulting in hi temperature gas in your face.... you'de better get yourself some takata harnasses... when you crash... you'd stay in your seats

You can also look for a oem dc2 non srs steering wheel, it's plug in play in your coupe imho one of the best steering wheels ever made !

It's been known that if you don't die from your head hitting the winscreen, you'll die from the air bag blowing in your face and breaking your neck. Not to mention how air bags work with a shotgun cartridge behind the wheel.

You're better investing some takata's like he said ^

well its at least 3 spoke and looks better.

a note on harnesses. They do hold you back but in a roll over, harnesses are not exactly safe without a cage as you cannot move out of your seat if you are upside..since you are so tight in.
