Well its been almost three years since i bought it so i dont remember.

As for updates on the car, i only have a small one. My front end was in an accident right after i bought the car in '07. So the radiator support is bent. I dont have the money right now to buy a new one so i just pulled this one semi straight. It still needs some work but looks a lot better imo. Other then that, i am waiting on new tires for winter and possibly some coilovers in the near future. It's football season so i barely get time to do anything. But as thing progress i will update you guys. :thumb:

#219155 Sorry this build has been moving so slow. :cry: its football season and i barely have time to do anything. But right now im trying to find a nice set of coilovers to run on it, im leaning towards Buddy Clubs. I also am going to be starting the bodywork on the car, and possibly redoing my whole engine bay in the near future. I only have four more weeks of football left. So after that its time to work on the car. :thumb:

So overall, not a very good evening. I was aiming for high 13's on the azenis but well have to wait to see what happens. Thank god it was just an axle and NOT my diff...


If it's an actual j4d Tranny (ITR) you'll break axles all day before the diff goes. and from the pics. of the tranny didnt really look like LSD. isn't LSD if yu cant see all the way through it is an LSD andif you see throught or a bar in it it's NON LSD?.. All and all still a nice swap.. =] Like what your doing with it..

DO KSPORT youll love it trust me!!! PLs they are locaterd in Arizona to Technical suppoort is fast and easy.. Ive had mines for 2 years now. and one shock blew last week. and that's only becaus my trailing arm bushing shit the bed and it let the shock compress too much. and sure enough i call KSPORT and got a replacement sent out quick warranty on the kit is 12 months so i was out of warranty to replace for ree, so they worked something out with me!!! .. and they were so nice and SPOKE english too.
=].. the thing with buddy club and TEIN, yea they are JDM Based but their swap out process takes forever!!!! the distributor here that you would get them from willnot take one out of a kit they have and give it to you in return fr your used lown one when it does blow... that means you'll have to wait til they process it. might haveto send your shock in or whatever and that can take months!!!!!! I know from experience with TEIN. had it on my 98 Intega. POT hole Boom gone. car parked on a jack stand for 4 months. NEVER again!! :x

and the thing with ksport you canget custom spring rates with your kit for i think it's $10 more added to the total. Depending on what you will be riding the for ( Drag, Cruise,Circut) they have the set up you need. and the shocks ae adjustable!! .

Yeah it is a real j4d tranny. The pic shows the differential and how you can see right through it. I've heard horror stories of these diffs breaking so i wasnt sure what to expect haha


As for the Ksports, I thought about getting them but I've heard bad things about them blowing out constantly on the road. I will definitely look into them though. I never thought of dealing with replacing the buddy clubs. so good thing you said something :thumb:

#221931 So over the past week and a half I have been through hell with my car. First it stopped starting one day. Turned out it was the pesky ground between the trans and the frame. So i bought a new one of them then the next day I smelled coolant burning, then the temp started to go up. I limped the car home only to find that i had like 6 small holes in the radiator, goddamn advance auto parts radiators. So right now the car is undrivable :cry: But i ordered a dual core half rad, just in case i go turbo 8) 8) I'll grab some pics in a little bit guys

Over the last day or so ive been working on rewrapping my door panel inserts with red vinyl, this is how the first one turned out. I would do a write up but there is 123353536267 of them out there. So heres some pics

#227938 So as i went to install the radiator i ran into a few issues. First, my stock mounts were moved and welded for a dc radiator. So i had to take them off and i made custom mounts for my radiator. this way i can move it where i need it to be for future motor work :D

Heres some pics of the install. Dont mind the ugly radiator stay, I am going to order a blox or password jdm one very soon.

Yeah a dc radiator is a full sized radiator so it goes across the whole front of the engine bay, i didnt like how it made the bay look cluddered and i needed space for future mods :thumb:

Yea i feel ya. Well ive had my ksport for about 18months. and just one strut blew.. my passenger side cuz i had some fat kid sit there i went over my 2 passenger maximum in my car. sop yea. it was being compresseed in too much along with my trailing arm busshing fully worn just made it worse. But i did call them the warranty was only 12 months. but they did give me a discount on a replacement strut so i was happy got in about 3 days replaced it and good to go. smooth again. .. they are easily rebuildable so ill keep them.. :thumb:
