for best results do not use a steam cleaner...the steam cleaner has smaller water partials and they get into your electrical connections and cause corrosion. just buy a can of degreaser and use a pressure washer or hose...i learn that from detailing cars

What if your bay is SERIOUSLY dirty? I tried two shots of the degreaser, let the engine heat up, spray, let it sit, and then rinse and it barely made a dent. I think I'm gonna have to get in there and use some old fashioned elbow grease, along with some DW-40 or something
especially on the underside of my hood

dude your not supposed to let the engine heat up. the engine is supposed to be completely cold...then you use hot water

the engine degreaser that i use says to spray everything down, then apply the degreaser, let soak for like 20 min then wash it off...then the motor look brand new

Yeah right on the bottle it says to let it heat up for 5-10 mins, then spray, then let sit 20 minutes, then rinse.

I need a good car degreaser/bomb lol. My entire '93 could use a good tearing-apart-cleaning-and-putting-back-together. There's dirt in places that you wouldn't imagine dirt could get, whoever had it before me NEVER cleaned it
