WARNING, LARGE POST

LOTS OF INFO
Really like the Headlight setup, where did you get the headlights and was it hard to do the retrofit?
The retro fit was actually really quite easy, here are the head lights I bought:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/92-95-HONDA-CIVI ... 2c624c8224 spec-D headlights with the black housing.
Then I bought the projectors off of
http://www.theretrofitsource.comThese are the D2S mini's with the galting gun shrouds. You can actually buy a kit for them right now:
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/produc ... cts_id=237I basically baked the headlights in the oven to remove the glass lens from the headlight so I can fit the projectors in. Since I had bought the D2S mini's, they had an H4 bulb size making the end of the projector fairly small. This allowed made the job very easy because all I had to do is place the projector in, and screw on the backing, no cutting required.

Then as for the shrouds, they were too long, so I did have to have them down to fit against the back of the headlight housing nicely. Then once everything was okay, I sealed the glass lens back onto the headlight with a generous amount of silicon, this way no moisture will get in
This retro-fit was well worth the money, the light output is very nice! And they are Bi-Xenon, so the high beams are very bright!!!
Wow nice interior dude did you get it custom re trimmed or can you but those doorcards and gaiters? in the uk i can get hold of gear gaiters but not handbrake ones :/ lovving the s2k dash aswell at first i wanted a set for my civic but was put off by how hard people said it was to do :/ how did you go about doing it ?
For the interior pieces, I bought the E-Brake boot and Door Panel Inserts from interior-customs
http://www.shop.interior-customs.com/19 ... ic_c46.htm
The Door Panel Inserts were VERY* difficult to do because it was very hard to line up the red stitch

but the E-Brake boot just simply slides over top of your stock one

Here is what I sent to another fellow civic-eg member that was asking me where I got my "aftermarket" wiring harness for the cluster. Since he asked, I decided to give him a bunch of info that helped me with my s2k cluster installation. so enjoy
***ALL IMPORTANT INFO READ ALL PLEASE***
I am looking right now for the seller that sold me my ap1 pigtails, but I cannot find his thread...
I bought them off a Honda-Tech member by the name Ketchup.
He was selling both the AP1 and AP2 harnesses that he made himself, sadly like I said I cannot find the thread anymore
here is his info on Honda-Tech
http://honda-tech.com/member.php?u=999380295
(YES, he does still make these harnesses for anyone looking to buys ap1 or ap2 pigtails
)
Best is to send him a PM on Honda-Tech, or email directly, here is his info:
ketchups email address:
ketchups@gmail.com
He told me anyone can email him if they would like to buy them, just say mitch6 gave you his info
Now assuming that you are looking to install an ap1 cluster in an eg, you will have to match the pins on the aftermarket pigtail set with the eg pin out.
Here are some helpful links for this job:
EG cluster wiring pin out
http://www.marklamond.co.uk/products/s2 ... out-eg.htm
AP1 s2000 cluster wiring pin out
http://www.marklamond.co.uk/products/s2 ... t-2000.htm
here is the site I used to wire the cluster up, it matches all the eg wires to the ap1 wires:
http://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-foru ... bezel.html
However there might be one or two wiring mistakes on this forum, nothing major though. This is why I gave you the cluster pin outs, they are far more accurate. All you have to do is match the Functions.
Also make sure to buy:
1) Speedohealer V4
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SpeedoHealer-V4- ... 3cbf9f57ee
2) Modifry ECT module
http://www.modifry.com/products/ect/index.htm
(you may find the speedohealer elsewhere for cheaper)
If you decide to tackle this project, let me know if you need any help along the way, and I will do my best to help.
