#221820 Big clean up today, tear apart the interior and vacuumed everything. Cleaned out tons of hidden crap :eh:
Image
Decided the fix the dent on the rear bumper and the fitment on the side.
Image
It turned out that I had to spend around 2 hours trying to get those dam rusty bumper screws off. One of the screw, wont come off so I burned it with a torch. :thumb: Then the rear end damage was worse than what I expected. The foam is gone, the metal is bent pretty bad.
Image
I heated up the bumper with a torch then tries to bend out the dent. It is not perfect, but good enough. Much better than what I started with :hehe:
Image
Also fit the bumper up.

This is terrible  Good thing it was just a small rust. I sanded down with 40 grit. I am not scared!
Image
Painted it with anti rust.

Bought those mesh at kragen for 5 bucks. Bent it to the right place as a foundation for bondo. I don't have the tools to do a proper rust repair, so I went with this method..
Image
bondo the s*** out of it. 8)
Image
sand it down, and match the body curve. it's not as easy as I thought it would be. Matching the original curve is difficult. This is my first time doing body work with bondo. I will try to get it better and post up a pic.

Put on the wheels. When I was installing the coilovers, I stripped one of the oem bolt on the strut. I spent few days trying to PB blast, torch, vise grip, hammer, but I gave up and send the car to a shop. Let them worry about it. and It turns out that the thread of the bolt was fine, it was the bolt rusted down with the bushing in LCA. so there was no way I could have loosen it myself...what a waste of time haha. Ended up cutting and drilling and replacing a new LCA. Quite expensive in a shop. :x

New corner amber  My mud guard is scraping like crazy..Also, ordered some new rear rotor and rear brake pad (hawk performance), since my brake on the back is rusted out. What tools would I need to reset the piston? Where can I rent it? Any help is appreciated. I hope I won't strip another bolt on the caliper..
