now for the problem - (a big thanks to everyone who have been saying it the distributor btw) it WAS the distributor after all! even thought thew distributor was brand new! heres what it looked like when i just took it off!
(apologises for crap picture) but as you can hopefully see - 1 of the locating pins had snapped off and the pin which goes through the end is hanging out!!! i was so pissed off when i saw this - the stupid thing is (and this isnt shit) i had a bad feeling about this distributor when i bought it and received it! it was off ebay an cost £86 delivered - im going to email the seller asap an ask for full refund!
so basically, just because somethings new it dosent neccasrily mean its perfect! and trust your instincts on things too
