Last weekend i replaced all the gear linkages as i wanted to make sure the shifter was tight and precise feeling :)
I also stripped alll the calipers down today, and cleaned inside all the wheels as they were getting pretty dirty. One of the calipers is minced, piston is all pitted so i'll just buy some legend 2-pot calipers :)
Image

I didnt get a chance to fit my new itr arb, as i over slept and wasnt able to pick the parts up from honda  so ill do it next weekend.

My mate Lee kindly got my new rear arch replacements for me whilst i was away though, as
i'll be booking it in for a full respray soon to get rid of the rust that is beginning to come.

The place is far from cheap, but all there work is of the highest standard and it is done in a paint oven too :D

Ill keep you all posted as usual

#63453 More progress today

The front of the car was very very low, so not having camber adjusters, the tyres where wearing out too quickly, i considered getting some camber adjusters but i had problems with ground clearance on the standard teg manifold and couldnt jack it up without lifting the front end
Also, the rear was feeling alittle soft on high speed cornering so i decided to fit some uprated shocks all round and raise the front a tad.

So to start with a pic of the car as it was (ride height wise)
Image

Then i fitted the rear shocks with the 40mm springs....and it was far too high.

Difference in springs

I then fitted the 50mm springs to the shocks at the rear, and raised the front to 40mm to
get the stance i was after, it handles mile better and i still have to fit the 22mm itr rear arb

Pics of the new stance

I'm also planning a trip to the ring reasonably soon, and a new manifold, and possibly a splitter so the ground clearance is needed anyway

Also, pics of some illuminous yellow socks i'm rockin' at the minute

Comments welcome :)

#63471 nice looking eg, but i wanted to know that you had b16a2 before right? so is there any difference between the manifold of the b16 and b18 i know the b18 ones flow better and perform better aswell, but i hoses and senser are they all the same, AMer

#63488 Intake or exhaust manifold do you mean?

The engine bolts straight in using all the B16 sensors/harness and hoses.

#63993 Love the car, mate! Geez, you go through rims like mad. I think my favorite wheels were the black ones. They were subtle, but the black contrasted really well with the red paint and carbon fiber stuff. Keep up the good work!
