#53430 Shift linkage won't work. The shifter from a SOHC wont work, you could try to make it work but I won't say its worth it.

Just get a Stock ITR shifter, one they are polished from factory and they come with less throw than a B16 one. Short throws are just tranny killers.

#53527 UPDATE!!!
ok so the civic shifter did bolt right up to the B-Series shift linkage. so thats all set. Also we got the motor mounted into the car and took care of all the wiring and most of the hoses. I just need to pick up a Upper and Lower Radiator hose. I picked them up from autozone 2 days ago but when i went to go put them in yesterday i noticed the lower one was too long and the upper one was too short so i gotta go to autozone later and get the correct hoses. and i also need a hose that goes to the heater core to the head of the motor. Oh and i also need to bolt up the shift linkage. So after thats all taken care of hopefully she fires up today :D
here some new pics of the motor mounted

no theres nothing wrong with it at all. Doesnt smoke or anything it runs good. the only thing it really needs is a clutch. little odds and ends but nothing serious. :thumb:

UPDATE!!!!!!!
THE MOTOR IS IN AND RUNNING PERFECTLY FINE!!!!!! :woot: :woot:
It started up on the first try! then after letting it run for a little while we noticed it started over heating and the lower radiator hose wasnt warm at all. so right off the bat i knew it was the T-stat. so i got a new one and nothing. took it for a spin to see if the temp would go down and it ran a little hotter then it should. So i came back to he garage and let it cool down. then i was like oh may it needs more coolant so i dumped maybe half of the bottle of anti freeze that was left and after that it ran perfect on the test drive. So after that we hooked up VTEC and took it for a spin.
So far i love it. VTEC screaamms real good. And the motor actually has more power then i expected. I drove a 99 si before with the b16a2 but this motor blows that motor away. Even my friend with a poormans ITR was like "damn this shit moves just as good or better then mine". Also with the exedy stage 1 clutch and the ACT 12.5 pound flywheel it Grabs hard accelerates pretty quick with the lightened flywheel. The only thing i dont like is that my stock exhaust pipping is only like 1" so when i punch it the exhaust rattles and makes a funky noise. So some time in the near future im going to be looking to buy a new exhaust system. maybe a Buddy Club spec II

SO heres the newest pics of the motor all hooked up and running :thumb:
