- Mon Jul 09, 2012 5:24 pm #310431 damn you brits get down hard lol, diggin the orange hatch with the purple bay, makin it look nice and flush yet oem..alot of people where i live either "rice" their shit out or try to be epicly different and fail miserably...lol...i really also like you just rebuilding the motor instead of swapping, good way to save money...i spun a rod bearing and didnt find out till i bought a new jdm d15b (shipped to my door for almost 1200 bucks) and i tore my oil pan off the old motor (since shipping bent and dinged up the new one) and saw coppper shavings :thumbdown: but i have a spare motor to build for boost now :hehe: anyways enough rambling from this guy, good luck with the build!

Haha thanks man. Its always great reading such comments. And "some" of us brits get down hard lol. Others rice it up just like you said. But ive always been a believer of "each to their own" :)

As for my engine i loved the B16 when she was last on the road. So i want to max out the potential of it and see just how much i can achieve. Its not all about the speed for me though i want to build a super clean EG that will last for years to come, and not cut any corners. Hence using full quarters and not arch repair panels :) hope you keep following the build man. Good luck with your hondas too :D

Yeah i know what you mean in that respect. There are some weirdly modified cars out there lol. And ill certainly check out your build :) Its always interesting to see what others are getting up to behind closed garage doors :P

- Sat Jul 14, 2012 6:33 pm #310914 Just a small update guys, So today i picked up a custom frame i had made for the EG to go on so it can be transported on monday to get the quarters fitted... Few quick pictures of it and i started bolting it onto the chassis.

Over the weekend i got the car fully mounted on my frame, Then yesterday i dropped the car off at the fabrication shop that are fitting my quarter panels.. Just a few snaps, More updates will come as work progresses on the quarters!

Tight as hell squeeze getting the car down the side of my house!

Just a bit of an update on the car guys, Should be back this weekend hopefully! :D Rust free and looking good!
