I am pretty sure the Break Master Cylinder is out... The Break Booster seems to work. but it just has absolutly no back pressure to it... So I am gonna go to Autozone and order a few things for the car tomorrow...

With my order for the B20V Swap. Ill also be putting in a order for
-Front and Rear rotors
-Front and Rear Pads
-Integra Master Cylinder

I am gonna have one fun weekend doin all this crap!

- Wed Mar 28, 2012 6:32 pm #300172 Well Vtec Conversion is ordered everything on that list is execp the AEM Tru-Time Cam Gears... Ill do those when I get cams, but for now all that is ordered and tomorrow I am off to AutoZone to order all the brake crap :/



If anyone is WA, wants to help/turn some wrenches let me know.

- Thu Mar 29, 2012 12:22 am #300221 I'd come hang if I was home! Master cylinder is easy. I replaced mine before my booster and that's when I realized that my booster was out. You could probably try running on non-power brakes if it feels safer. It just takes a little more to push on the pedal.

I am on nights this week, and last night coming off shift I Got in the car, and turned it on let it warm up, and then I push the breaks and everything was fine, like nothing ever happened...
So I drove it to run my errands this morning getting all new rotors/pads and buying a new master cylinder.

Then I was coming back on post, off the highway, and Bam goes out pedal strait to the floor. I skid to a stop. and then it was like that the rest of the time driving.

Like you said I wouldnt mind driving with no power breaks, but I dont even have that... :/ the pedal just goes strait to the floor...

I'd find a bolt that will fit on the vaccum line that attaches to your brake booster, go to parking lot or something and put that bolt in and test your brakes. If that works, it would be a lot safer then having zero brakes!

- Thu Mar 29, 2012 6:49 pm #300311 I have switched the line backwards, as how it has a one way flow valve in it, and that didnt help any... it didnt make the break any stiffer

I hope it is the MC cuz I have a new one ordered will be here later today or tomorrow. and then I can get the car on the lift saturday and replace everything...

Thanks bro! I been driving like a GRANNY! I only work about a mile from where I live so Its not too too abd of a Drive. just take it slow and steady.

But I did get all my new parts, I just have to install them saturday and I should be golden, hopefully!

And with all my other goodies coming in the Mail I will have a product review for Lightning Motorsports here soon
But I just need to find a buddy for sat so I am not alone at the shop. and we are gonna knock this out.

So Started off good. I had a shit load of parts laying around getting ready to be installed.... Get down to our Autocrafts center and start knockin stuff out with a friend, car gets on a lift he starts pullin tires and gettin to work on the breaks, I start pullin the MC and bleeding the newone... well as I get one bench bleed turns out its the wrong one! fuck!! Autozone gave me a wrong part again who would have guessed...

Then the none of the brakes wanna come off, bolts rusted off in there, stuck and just bad day, when we finally get the front off, I got the wrong pads too.... they gave me RSX pads.

Then We pull the rear ones apart and there the right ones.. So I run to Autozone and they replace everything, but the parts wont be there till 2pm... (it was 10 when ordered) okay, I go back and start knockin minor stuff out, Put my window Visiors on, strut tower bars, and try to install a Cpillar bar Epicly Failed on that one....

2rolls around no parts yet, finally at 330 (car had to be out of the shop at 430) they get the part, I had like a 15-20 min drive back to the shop, I hurry up bleed the new MC and its right, and thrown the brakes on and all that with no time to spare... But HOLY FUCK why cant autozone give you the right crap the firsttime. seriously... its like there fucking retarted down there!

Ill post up some pics of the car later when I get a chance to shoot some

That's dumb. I've had nothing but trouble with people who work at parts stores. I always laugh when I see their commercials on tv, because they look like they're helping out sooooo much, but no. They never help. Haha

Did the new MC fix your problem?

Yeah man, She stops freaking awesome now!

Wish I didnt waste a whole day waiting on parts! but at least now she stops awesome!

Also got in Some tow hooks today as wsell. Dont know if I will run them, Ill try to run the front one as maybe a bumper gaurd so some DBag who doesnt pay attention doesnt backup into me.
