- Wed Feb 24, 2010 2:27 am #177334 Hi Here is my civic when I got it last year it had Honda Rust and some problems. I picked it up for free kind of had to do body work on another car for it. But the car has over 250,000km on her it does not read it because the speedo does not allways work but right now she is doing her vob. She looks great but she still have dents all over because of old owner and I will not fix them for winter because winter but summer time will come for better paint maybe metal flake? I am going to throw on my 15inch aftermarket when I am done cleaning them. here are some pics

re placed the back cardboard with plastic

there was alot of rust i did the body work and painted it

- Tue Mar 09, 2010 5:10 am #180051 ^^ Agreed; get rid of that painted junk in the interior. It's just tacky and awful. Maybe you bought it like that? Anyway, you can find paint remover that will remove paint from plastic, or just head to the junkyard for some replacements.

EDIT: Looks like you need new centre vents anyway so might as well just get a whole cluster surround. Look for one with a clock! ;)

- Tue Mar 09, 2010 4:45 pm #180129 i disagree with saying that color matching those parts to the body, would be ricing it out. on newer civics like mine, my whole dash is pretty closely color matched from the factory. im just saying if the paint job is done right then i think it adds some character to a other wise dull interior.
