#22083 Hi guys, this here's Helen, an EH3 passed down to me from my mom. she went and got herself a new City (aka Fit Aria) about 4 years back. I've had the car for 4 years, but the car's been in the family for 13.

pics:

The early days: stock suspension, taiwanese sw388 knockoffs. wish id taken some pictures of her when she was stock. :(

Time went on, finally got her a set of coilovers. This pic was taken the day before she was due at the paint shop for a fresh coat of paint

In the process:

Here's the end result: yes i painted her white...again. NH565 Grand Prix white. the whitest white ive seen yet. whiter than rice on a paper plate in a snow storm.

here's how she is inside:

Here's her engine, its a sohc zc, dyno'd at 108hp at the wheels.

Got sick of rocking taiwanese knockoffs, so i got these:

I was supposed to get a set of bronze RnR's, but someone beat me to it:cry:

#22092 Nice car, I like both sets of wheels, but the P1's really set the car off from other white hatches. Is that some kind of custom rear 3rd brake light? Front brakes fill the wheel nicely, did you notice a big improvement in braking?

#22096 thanks for the compliments guys!

Addict: other than whats been mentioned, there's some rust in the right rear quarter panel which needs taking care of. its not much and it hasnt broken through the paint but its still disheartening to know that she's rusting. im slowly saving up cash for the rest of my turbo kit, ive only got the turbo and a HF mani so far.

teal: yeah the wheels took a while to really grow on me, i only got them cuz my friend was egging me on to get them and im glad i listened to him. the 3rd brake light came like that from the factory. and the new brakes were like night and day. the stock brakes were teacup saucers. it was after i nearly rear ended an suv that i decided to go with the big brake upgrade.

Do the prelude disks and the ITR calipers bolt up easy? (I smell a "How to") Nice setup by the way 8)

#22198 thanks guys, unfortunately thats all she is now, only looks fast. hope that'll change by next year though :thumb:

sire: the brakes were easy to do, although granted i didn't do the work myself. to get the calipers to bolt on directly, i needed the hubs from an EG6. not sure if a DC2 one would've worked. the discs needed to have their lug nut holes redrilled to fit the 100 pcd hub. that's all to it really.

although i am having a small annoying problem which i never really got around to fixing as everything still works as intended.

at low speeds when only half pressure is applied on the pedal, there's a slight 'chafing' noise "chaft, chaft, chaft" from one of the front discs. full pressure and it disappears. then sometimes the steering wheels wiggles a bit when i brake lightly, but full pressure takes it away.

its weird....but im beginning to suspect that my mechanic fitted the wrong sized brake pads. :?

#22219 Car looks great!! Love it. needs a swap though.

Im not sure what it is, but those rims dont look like BuddyClubs. They look like Kosie K1s.
