Right here is my little DX (First car)
Paid just over a grand for it, yes I know a little steep but I really wanted one.
When I bought it, the car had 86k on the clock I think and was quite clean apart from one or two little things like a scratched front bumper and slight rust on the arch.
It came with 17 inch BSA rims which tbh were fugly and way to big for the car as when I had people in the back the arches scraped on the tyres.
Some photos the day I had it:
And two to show the sheer height lol
First thing I wanted was a CD player because it just had an old tape player in it so I hit ebay and ended up spending most of the money I had to mod it, Damn dvd players lol.
Worth it though.
Anyway the next thing I did was to fit an Lsi rev counter into mine, bar the speedo so I had my original mileage.
managed to do it with ease and worked a treat.
Video:
Decided to have a little photo shoot with an SLR (wasnt the best then)
After reading a tutorial on how to paint rocker covers I decided to give that ago took me 3 days because I used the wrong type of thinners and it took aaaages to dry but the end result was really good, photos dont do it justice.
Up to a couple weeks ago I hadnt passed my test and rarely had the chance to go anywhere to take photos and didnt have the money to do anything to the car but since Ive passed Ive done a few things.
I lent my wheels to a mate while I had still not passed and when I got them back they were bald good times. (No doubt he will see this as he is registered I think, cheers ass face lol)
Anyway because of this I had to run around with 17s on the back and 14inch fat fives on the front for 2 weeks until my MOT which it then failed due to a bulge in one of the tyres and a fucked up bush.
So I ventured into the local scrappy and found a set of honda alloys ( dunno what they are off might be a Jazz lol) their 14 inch 185s light weight and near enough spotless and I got them for £70 plus a perfect spare tyre the same size.
Well It got through the MOT after my dad and I changed the bush which was not as hard as the garage said it would be 10 tonne press my ass lol soap and a hammer.
So here are some new photos of the car:
These ones are before the wheel change
