The B20 walls are 33% thinner due to a bigger bore. N/A applications are okay, Boosting will lead to cracked cylinder walls. I have a friend rebuilding his engine for this reason. If you want the displacement of the B20 you can put a LS crank/rods into a B18c1 block and get 2.0 liters of displacement. You will get the added torque of the extra .2 liters and still have the thicker cylinder walls.

#149166 ^^^ That's what I was thinking. He said fully built. So any one of those you can build to be as good as all the rest.

Sleeving the block is the main priority if you want huge power. Forged rods and pistons and ARP hardware would help tremendously in the protection of your engine. You can rock the stock LS or B20 crank for longer stroke if you want to run with an 89mm stroke.

Whatever you do, tune. Spend as much money as is necessary to get a safe, reliable tune so you don't blow up your expensive engine and turbo.
