hi guys at the moment i am planning and have started purchasing bits to turbo my civic ive brought the full kit so far bar a few little bits but havent touch any of the internals im planning on doing this abit laiter on wot psi should i run it at and anything anyone can sudgest to help me along on my way to turbo power
what sorta numbers are you looking at ?, what turbo are you running as psi on one turbo will be different on another.....
stock internals can handle sorta depending on the miles to around 8psi on a small turbo or 200hp depending on the motor.....
The tune is everything this is probaly the largest money taker in any turbo project if they want the car to last that is....haveing a good tune will allow you to have correct a/f ratios and whatnot to allow for better engine management so you dont risk blowing it up....
And by full kit what do you mean?
there are many different kits out there did it come with injectors etc.....because you will need an injector upgrade and a fuel pump upgrade and to better manage the fuel you should get a fpr pgrade lol....
there is alot of money that goes into building a streetable turbo car just takes time and effort all i gotta say is researching is your best friend sleep eat breath it because you can never do enough of it ive been researching for well awhile and am finally slowly building up some currency to buy parts and make my own setup....
this is only a small percentage of what you need to look into as there are plent of other factors involved....
