hello knowledgeable people
quick question for you guys, not sure if this should be in the transmission section, as the question is more related to the effects on the turbo
, guess i will soon find out .. anyway
i have a stock b18c1 engine i intend to turbo. definitely not doing any internal work, the most maybe arp head studs, because 270-300whp is quite sufficient for a DD in my opinion.
with this as the plan i bought an LSD gearbox, B16B Type R flywheel and competition stage 4 clutch, but the box i bought was the S9B with the long gears
S9B
Found in: EDM UKDM MB6/MC2 (LSD) Helical LSD (same as S80)
Type: Hydraulic
1st: 3.230
2nd: 1.900
3rd: 1.360
4th: 1.034
5th: 0.848
R: 3.000
FD: 4.267
i have the opportunity to change the final drive to 4.785 out of a ITR Spec gearbox. should I?
is it going to be an advantage/disadvantage for the boost?
any help will be greatly appreciated.
