#53270 HI ALL,

MY FIRST POST ON THIS SITE - HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP!

I HAVE A 1992 UK SPEC CIVIC VTI EG6 FITTED WITH THE B16, I WANT TO PUT A TURBO KIT AS WELL AS A NITROUS OXIDE KIT AND HAVE SEEN A CHEAP KIT ON EBAY FROM THE STATES BUT I NEED ADVICE AS TO WHETHER IT WILL FIT OR NOT AS IT SAYS IN THE LISTING TITLE B16 BUT NOT EG6 OR CIVIC!

IS THE B16A1 DIFFERENT TO THE B16A2 BECAUSE I HAVE CATALOUGES AT WORK AND ONE SAYS I HAVE A B16A1 IN MY CAR AND ANOTHER SAYS I HAVE A B16A2

#53355 Them eBay turbo kits are shit. I've heard that the twisted ram manifold is shit too. Like he said ^ save up and build you own turbo kit, you could use so much better branded products built to quality. Best person to ask is Derbo on this forum, he's the one with the turbo knologe.

There is alot more involved to a turbo than just putting it together. You have to tune the car to it, timming etc.
I assume you want high power gains from your motor due to mentioning the 1/4 mile. Good luck with the choice, but I would personally not go with a cheap eBay kit when it comes to performance.

#53460 where can i source a good quality manifold/header that is a direct fit? I/C piping shouldnt be a problem. i have a greddy e manage blue - is this suitable as a piggy back ecu or is there a all in one solution that is better

BEST setup without having to worry about anything (besides how well your motor can withstand)

I would reccomend T3/T4 57Trim for your stock setup with some room to grow if you decide to build your motor later on.

You can run ECtune if you can find a tuner in your area or Crome or Hondata S300B.

You can always piece together your kit with other manufacterers like

#53824 ^^ x2 to all previous posts...im a bit of turbo nubler myself and cant give really any good advice...but imo i wouldnt go with an ebay turbo...9/10 its shit...As for the difference between the B16A1 or A2...the A1 is an older model and if i remember correctly the A2 had like 8-10 more hp and a little more tq...when in doubt just check your engine block.. :thumb:
