$600 chipped AND dyno tuned is cheap as hell, too. Jump on that dude.

ya, you can't beat $200 an hour on the dyno with the man who actually created Crome. :hehe:

#159750 should be pickin this up tonight...

its a custom made B series header that bolts to a stock EVO 8 turbo (both included). turbo only has like 3k on it. pretty sure the turbo is oil and water cooled. how would i go about that? and, the "turbo outlet" pipes they sell for those to hook up a down pipe, have a o2 bunge in them. will i be able to use this??

how should i go about the whole water cooling part??

well you can get a tuner toys adatper plate for the upper rad hose water jacket or just oil cool it and it should be fine from what i have read.

the water cooling is because it's on a factory turbo car and gives it longer life, basically to prevent oil coking which if you run a turbo timer or sit in your car for an extra 30 seconds, you shouldn't have to worry.... but others will prolly chime in and say different

edit: oh and what is the internal wastegate set at?
By oneandonlyblack
#159860 personally i'd go with the AEM...even if he created crome im sure he'll still tune your car...the aem is expensive because you pay for what you get.....crome is free hahaha just my opinion

you beat him in driver error...you plain stated this...and whoever is tunning your car could get more out of it if they were a little better....like stated about my buddy...he made 234 whp on a bone stock d16y7 and a freaking 50 trim ebay turbo running 10 psi....tunning himself....and on another note made 386 whp on a bone stock ls running 16 psi...all this is ran by an AEM

#159872 234 on a y7 stock block and head 10 psi i would love and pay money to see that....... my ls was tuned by a well known tuner in the bay area he was doing a conservative street tune......

#159873 and also how long did that bone stock ls making 386 last, a week?

#159874 AEM and Hondata are not worth it for a 200whp daily.

#159879 the y7 i've got a dyno sheet somewhere ill have to dig it up and scan it just for you....and the ls...it did only last about 4 months BUT he ended up only bendin a rod slightly due to tunning for 3 hours and forgetting to reset his tune before runnin again....unhooked the charge pipe and drove it 35 miles home...i have sheets of that too...it would without a doubt still be on the road right now with that engine if it werent for that...the y7 as a matter of fact is in his daily right now without a turbo and runs just fine...

Well my low comression vitara block is making 234 whp at 11 psi with a smaller 44 trim eBay turbo with a conservative tune on Crome pro. The launch control is sweet and has just as good as rev cut as s300. Either way, Crome is good for a 240whp daily.... I would use Crome, hondata is way overpriced for what it is, especially if the damn guy invented crome.
