its not the boost you run that breaks things, not directly at least, the CFM is what makes your power, you want more cfm than you do boost, but the two are kind of directly related... but its in the tune, and the parts are good to around 300whp.... what ever boost level that may be...
X2 6-8 PSI on a 14b is way different that 6-8 PSI on say a T4, same pressure but the T4 at that level will make more power ... and spool slower. CFM is what makes power, PSI is more of a measure of how hard the turbo is working.
