#18618 it is the front bumper support. May have to do with US safety standards, like our side imact bars in the doors. Nice work finding an IC that fit with it, I had to cut half of mine out :x

I've never seen a civic without it. Then there is a piece of styrofoam that goes over the front of it between the bumper.

Nice job on the install!!!!

#18775 yeah, a head on hit and you guys are screwed :(
Stefan, maybe the last owner removed it. I find it hard to believe that a civic in any country would come with nothing at all up front.

#18869 All EDM EG's came without a bumper support.
All models, so coup?, hatch and 4dr.

I don't know about the lesser EK models, but since a guy on CCH asked for one, I suppose there is one on the EK.

About a head on collision; we are driving Civics.
That means we're screwed anyway, unless it's at very low speeds ;)

But my compliments on the build, it's been going down really fast wasn't it?
Everything working out allright now, no problems at all??

yeah it went down really fast. i took my car to an exhaust shop today to get the downpipe from the turbo bent back to my exhaust so im awaiting the call to go pick it up. still have to fix my small oil leaks. this friday im gona be ordering a filter sandwich adapter and some steel braided lines and fittings and put some silicone on my oil pan gasket and then tuning. but tuning will be done while all the stuff is happening. so its almost there :D

yeah i cant wait at all! just this stupid little shit not going right and its getting annoying. today i tried data logging with my ecu but turns out it wont support data logging so im gona have use one of my friends P75 non vtec ecu which supports data logging and get it changed over to a vtec ecu and everything else that goes with it.

good news tho!! took my car to the exhaust shop today after i finally found one that would work on my car since i dont have a cat. since it had to be under the table he did for $100 cash monies and i was out the door. i started it up, holy shit is it quiet. almost stock quiet, like its too quiet so it pretty cool cause thats kinda "sleeperish". since no one makes a flange and downpipe for the ihi on my car i had to use my friends flange that he used when he had the turbo on his car so the welds arent the greatest but the welding was done on a cheap ass welder so it has quite a bit of splatter on it that im gona have to grind down and then ill probly be taking it to get ceramic black coated like my manifold. ill be sure to post some pics of how it looks on there now probly tomorrow sometime when i get off work.

tahts a good deal on the exhaust, mine cost $50 to get it done...but i knew the guy that was doing it so i think he gave me a deal haha. As for you computer...?? what one was it in the first place p28? can the tuner your going to take it to chip it for you there?? that way he knows what he is working with!

#19077 he knows exactly what he has to get to make it work. the original stock ecu is the p28 and the phearable ecu that is the chipped one i got is a p06 ecu.

edit:

i was looking around some some car fourms for turbo d series and what not and i found a guy that has a downloadable tune for 6-7 psi with 450cc injectors, i know its not gona be the same but it is tuned well judging by my wideband so im just going to use his as a basis for mine and go from there instead of datalogging all my info and then tuning and burning and tuning and burning. using the new map just to save me some time and have less of a headache at night.
