#14103 just orderd the cast iron manifold for her. was wondering on a route to run my IC pipes cause the looks of it with the turbo there it looks like it would leave little to no room for the pipe to fit without having to remove the a/c lines...

#16763 Found this from one of the guys visiting Civic Club Holland.
HMT on a EG4;

Downpipe and charge-air piping

compressorhousing -> CAC (aka FMIC)

compressorhousing -> CAC from another angle

This one speaks for itself ;)

CAC -> i/m including two BOV's

Though I have to say, I might not be an undisputed expert...
But that downpipe looks very weird to me, I guess the turbo could spool up quicker with a better d/p.
Also, I'm not a big fan of 2 things about the charge-air piping;
- the long silicone coupler (weak link, will cause problems, I think)
- possible heat soak; the c-a piping is very close to the downpipe for quite a while, you can cool the charge-air all you want, but with a better downpipe routing, charge-air temperature will be lower...

But its just to show you it can be done :)
And I prefer a turbo setup with some flaws in it over a stock D15B7 with only bolt-ons, so respect to Mielko :)
