#158496 ok ill break it down quick. got a b16a3 with small turbo set up. i ran it with basic turbo kit(mani turbo intercooler bov west gate.) ran ok but fual pump relay would stop fual and check engine went on.
so now i have ramhorn mani on and dsm 450 and b17 cams. car idles like crap. i do have a resister box for the injectors and msd digital sci. now the BIG problem... crappy idle. motor bogs alot till i can get it past 3k rpm them boost like ceazy. to start the car i floor the pedal and itll make it idle at 500. pump pedal few times hold it to the floor and it slowly get back up. cant go anywhere past 2nd gear as it will slow down and die. i do have a chipped ecu with chrome.

any pointers any help is greatly appreciated. im trying to hit the strip sat so hopin it gets done.

#158501 Sounds like your ignition system took a crap on itself. MSDs are known for doing that in Honda applications.

Step one, talk to your tuner.

Step two, fix whatever went wrong.

If it's your ignition system revert back to OE parts, not parts store parts. Use Honda parts, trust me you won't regret it.

#158504 gotcha. i just installed that msd too. think its crap already? when i accelerate kinda hard the rpms keep going up but seems like it starts to limit itself.
like if you hit 2step every 300 rpms.
unfortunately theres no tuner. tryin to do things myself. to a certain point of coarse..

im guessin..
1. not havin a tuner. thats a no brainer. i have a small wallet and jus like doin things myself. not much to it

2. my fault cars runnin like crap/ yea i built it so not blamin anyone.

dont worry im searchin and learnin as it comes. trust me im not perfect and my knowledge is gettin a lil better.

#159207 i had the same problem with my d-series, turned out to be the spark plugs cause i cracked one of the insulators on one of them so it would hardly idle, be shitty under 3000rpm then come alive after that...frustrated me FOREVER, just saying it's worth checking out....most likely it's not your problem in this case.


how are you tuning? props to doing it your self, using crome, uberdata?
i have a chipped p28 and dsm 450cc injectors...make sure that the resistance is low at the power wires for the injectors and check your timing.
