ok as some yall know i planted a b18b1 into my sedan. now its all bard and only needs a smog and im done for 2 more years. i have my built motor- b18b1, b16pistons, new rings, bearings, gaskets, head is ported and polished by JGperformance, crower stage 2 cams, dual valve springs, aem cam gears and thats it in a nutt shell. what my question is, i know ill want more power than what will be coming, will it be safe to run a turbo? is it worth it? is the compression already to high? i will be adding a new throttle body, manafold and will have to upgrade the injectors an proly the fuel rail to. plus i will have crome or hondata installed then dyno. so any advice will help. and if possible what will be safe boost? 8psi 15psi 25psi :P ?????

I wouldn't recommend a Turbo, with your b16 pistons you will be running 11.39 compression. Its not worth it IMO. To not get detonation you will have to run race gas and have a SUPER good tune.

If you want more power, Use Nitrous. Get a wet nitrous kit, follow tuning found in the "D16 want nitrous" thread and you will surprise people.

I am planning a high comp LS/V for my EK Hatch and will be throwing my wet kit on after I have the engine tuned.

ok so just spray. and say no to turbo.... well its cheaper. just have to fill the bottle when empty which is on like 50 bucks at my local race store.ok. ill look into the build.
